Beyond Lemonade: 7 Great Uses for Lemons!

It’s summertime and we are loving lemons! Besides their refreshing scent, they’re so healthy and delicious. Packed with Vitamin C, their usefulness goes far beyond a favorite summertime drink. Here are 7 useful and unusual ways to use lemons…

Clean your microwave: Mix 3 tablespoons lemon juice into 1 1/2 cups water in a microwave-safe bowl and heat on high for 5-10 minutes. The steam will condense on the walls of the microwave, allowing you to easily wipe them clean, and leave your microwave smelling lemony fresh!

Make perfect rice: Just add a teaspoon of lemon juice to the water when cooking rice, it will fluff nicely when done.

Face wash: Make a natural face wash with equal parts lemon juice, water, aloe, and honey. Your face will be squeaky clean and you’ll smell delicious!
